Woven together with leaves from local palm trees, these bowls are a natural work of art. Coiled ridges wind their way around each row to create a rugged, natural texture like no other. A perfect balance of form and function, they’re a great place to store towels, books, fruit, or anything else.
Handwoven by artisans in Malawi, each bowl takes up to five days to complete. All made start-to-finish in a fair trade environment. Since each bowl is handwoven, each piece is truly one of a kind. Please expect some variation in size and shape.

Pleased with these bowls. Purchased 2 XL for atop bookshelves on either side of the room and they balance and finish everything off nicely. Perfect shape, hue, and quality. Love the clean lines and low slung form, different from most baskets.

This a beautiful oversized basket that I use for shoes at my front door. It has plenty of room for several pairs of shoes and a high side so they are not readily seen. I like that there is no lid so there is easy access to the shoes. It also makes me happy that it is assisting an artisan with income.
