Tarak Handwoven Area Rug
If you've ever been to the ancient stepwells of Vastu Shastra in Rajasthan, you'll recognize the cascading pattern leading you to the center of this one-of-a-kind rug. A natural fit for any space, this soft flatweave adds an effortless charm that can't be missed.
Each rug is handwoven by 14 master artisans in Bhadohi, India. From start-to-finish, it takes 5 days to complete, all made in a fair trade environment.
We recommend using a RUG PAD to prevent wrinkles and slippage.

The rug invites you into the room. Details are visible without looking “ homemade” & let’s you see all the work that went into weaving the rug. The sizing is perfect. The corners lay flat. no curling up! It works exactly over the recommended pad. The only issue is the navy ground reads darker than how I remembered it in the shop, but it did not deter me from keeping it!
