Jaipur is a city known for its storied culture, opulent architecture, and vivid colors splashed everywhere you look – so it’s no surprise that some of the world’s most beautiful home goods are created there. This small workshop draws on that rich heritage, creating pieces that are as expertly handcrafted as they are steeped in history and tradition.
Since 1974, this group has worked to bring the richness of the Indian culture into homes across the world. From textiles to furniture and more, they work with over 7,000 artisans across India – many of whom have learned their craft from the generations that have gone before them. And despite their size, one of the things they pride themselves on is the familial way they have built their workshop over the years. They are more than a group or collective. They’re family.
That history and sense of family is seen and felt in each of their designs; true craftsmanship that cannot be replicated or mass produced. Their eclectic mix of traditional and modern has given this equally eclectic group of artisans staying power for more than four decades. Most likely because of their approach to their craft: they view what they do as a labor of love, one that creates heirloom-worthy pieces designed to be passed down from generation to generation.
