This rug is handwoven by master artisans in Panipat, India. From start-to-finish, each one takes up to five weeks to complete, all made in a fair trade environment.
We recommend using a rug pad to reduce wrinkles and slippage.

Disappointed - Will Be Returning
I didn't realize that this was a flat weave rug. It is very thin and not cushy or plush at all. Might be fine with a bedroom, but not for a living room. The wool is a bit itchy. The cream textured areas are all laying one direction and doesn't give the texture I had hoped. Even with the use of a rug pad, the rug moves and gets wrinkled up. Additionally, because of the way it was shipped (folded up in squares instead of rolled like a rug would typically be), it has many deep wrinkles in the rug going the entire length and width of it. Customer service rep told me to lay heavy objects on the rug and eventually they would come out. But this is a big task for an 8x10 rug with deep fold marks all over it. I will likely be returning. For the price, I expected something much nicer.

Perfect Neutral rug full of texture
I purchased the Akshay Area Rug in the 9x12 size for my living room. It is beautiful! I love the varying tones of gray along with the texture it provides. I’ve already gotten so many comments from friends. Quality is beautiful! I look forward to enjoying this rug for years to come!
Lovely rug
Very nice rug, very happy with purchase. Agree with other reviewers that the rug does have a warmer creamy appearance in person as compared to the online photos, but I was prepared for this after reading the reviews. Good quality, simple packaging when it arrived (in a box vs large tube).
