Celeste Chunky Wool Throw
Hello, cozy. Made from thick, all natural merino wool, this chunky throw is the definition of luxury. With a woven texture and fringe detailing, it is supremely soft and a total statement maker. When it comes to styling, the throw size makes for a perfect couch or reading nook accent, while the bed throw size adds a finishing touch to the bottom of a queen or king size bed.
Handwoven by a group of 10 master artisans in Montevideo, Uruguay, each throw takes a day to complete. All made start-to-finish in a fair trade working environment.

Be warned! Very chunky, feels delicate.
It's extremely chunky. The pictures don't quite do it justice. It's about 1.5"-2" thick and somewhat loosely held together. I am concerned that it may unravel or that the binding strings may catch something. I'm pretty disappointed, and will likely just purchase a cashmere or alpaca throw instead.

Beautiful at first....
I loved the texture and weight of this throw when it first arrived. Unfortunately, it quickly deteriorated and pilled. After a couple of months, it looked quite ratty and old even though we really only used it in the evening when it was cold. Was disappointed given the price.
