This bronze piece is handcrafted and unlacquered to preserve its natural beauty and food-safe properties. Bronze tarnishes and changes color with time and regular use. If this happened in transit, use a soft cleaning cloth to polish.
Tips:
Use a soft cloth to gently wipe in circular motions. If needed, use diluted metal polish or a mixture of vinegar and salt (never use harsh, abrasive cleaning products).
Then, wash with mild soap and warm water to remove all residue. Immediately dry with a soft cloth.
Store tucked away and wrapped in acid-free tissue paper or a cotton cloth, sealed in an air-tight plastic bag.

Warm and light
It's a very beautiful bronze tray. I especially like its warm, light color of bronze, which makes it very modern.

I waited and waited for this set to be restocked. By "set" I mean the two trays and matching set of bowls. Unfortunately, one of the trays was heavily discolored, with streaks of dark brown marring the light bronze finish. It did not have the uniform look of the trays in the photos. One of the coordinating bowls I ordered was the same way. A little bit of discoloration would have been ok, but this was too much, and I returned the set.
