Impeccably hand-loomed in a contrasting grid of rich navy, grey, and cream, this throw blanket is a modern classic. Made from baby alpaca, a fiber so luxurious it was once reserved for Inca royalty, this handsome blanket is extra soft and cuddly.
Handwoven by master artisans in a quiet mountain village in the Peruvian Andes, each throw takes about a week to complete. All made exclusively in a fair trade environment.
Note: Alpaca wool is hypoallergenic, so this throw is ideal for those with allergies or sensitive skin.

This beauty is handcrafted with 100% alpaca fiber, which does mean it's susceptible to snags from sharp objects (similar to a sweater). One trick I'd recommend is gently pulling the weave taut in the opposite direction of the snag to add tension back into the pulled fibers.
