Jantar Mantar .02 By hazel & pine
Meaning “calculating instrument,” the Jantar Mantar is a collection of nineteen astronomical instruments used for tracking the position of the sun, stars, and planets. We couldn’t get over the unexpected shapes and angles of each instrument, each one a work of modern art.
This shot was captured by the LA-based duo who go by hazel & pine, two photographers known for their editorial, yet whimsical approach to travel imagery. More about Nicole Griffin and Ashley Turner here.
NOTE: Due to the custom printing of these fine art prints, all art is final sale.

Cheap looking. Awful customer service.
The quality of the materials used on this piece of art are subpar to say the least. The framing is cheap poster framing, and the plexiglass use is also a poor quality and highly reflective, making it unusable in most areas of our home. Customer service offered a fraction of the cost to replace the framing, putting the work on us, rather than just excepting a credit or replacement. Feels like something out of Urban Outfitters or some college type dorm style product.
