Handcrafted from the highest grade hinoki cypress, this bath runner features a soft feel and aromatic scent (that only gets more fragrant when wet). From start-to-finish, each one takes over a week to complete. All made in a fair trade workshop in Okawa, Japan, that has perfected the art of furniture making over four generations.

Great quality but Measure for Door Clearance!
The piece is well made and is a great addition to a bathroom - it's height was too tall to fit under the shower door in our project. Be sure to measure your door clearance for placement :)
Excellent aromatics. Beautiful design.
Mostly I love the woody Hinoki cedar aroma! The unfinished wood adds a soft organic texture to our bathroom which is finished in concrete tile. My favorite part of bathing was going into the shower, now its exiting because the Hinoki aroma intensifies.

Beautiful, fragrant, and sturdy
We were a little hesitant when it came in that it might break after stepping on it a few times but it's been a dream! Sometimes I splash a little water on it before getting out of the shower so it fills the room with the beautiful Hinoki scent we fell in love with on our travels around Japan a couple years ago. A little pricey but entirely worth it for all the memories it brings back. <3
