Handcrafted from the highest grade hinoki cypress, this ladder features a soft feel and aromatic scent (that gets more fragrant when wet). From start-to-finish, each one takes over a week to complete. All made in a fair trade workshop in Okawa, Japan, that has perfected the art of furniture making over four generations.

The wood ladder is carved in such a way that it is very smooth. The corners are rounded and the ladder rungs are the perfect distance apart for hanging towels. I had been looking for a ladder for our master bathroom and finally found this one! It gives a spa like feel that we were hoping for.
