Hinoki Wood Side Table
Handcrafted from sustainably harvested hinoki cypress wood, this modern side table is a true conversation piece. The half moon design features subtle curves as well as straight lines at the base, bringing softness and a modern sensibility to any space. The smaller size allows the table to moonlight as extra seating, too, so it’s super versatile. Style anywhere you want to make a quiet statement — in the bath, guest bedroom, or on either side of an accent chair.
Handcrafted from the highest grade hinoki cypress, this table features a soft feel and aromatic scent (that gets more fragrant when wet). From start-to-finish, each one takes over a week to complete. All made in a fair trade workshop in Okawa, Japan, that has perfected the art of furniture making over four generations.

This piece is unfinished, meaning that the wood is untreated with lacquer or wax coatings. This creates a more natural, matte look, but also leaves the wood at higher risk to staining - please use coasters with drinks to avoid any undesired staining.

These beautiful handmade side tables are perfect for our bedroom. We wanted a “Japandi” style side table that would fit with our platform bed. The wood and construction is high quality and really makes a statement. Just note that the wood is unfinished so be careful with putting glasses on the surface.
