Handcrafted using locally sourced hinoki wood, each standing rack takes over a week to complete. All made in fair trade workshop in Okawa, Japan by master woodworkers who’ve perfected the art of furniture making over four generations.

This item is naturally water-resistant, so it can be styled in bathrooms and covered patios. If this piece becomes overly saturated with water, we recommend placing in a dry, open-air area until the wood returns to its original state.

The rack is gorgeous, really beautifully crafted and smells amazing. Hinoki wood is my new favorite material. It's such a light, modern look. My only negative about the rack is that it's a bit smaller than I had hoped. You could fit two standard sized towels on it but if you use a bath sheet like my husband prefers you need to put it across both parts of the stand to dry.
