La Cima Handwoven Area Rug - Grey
Thanks to an intricate process of mixing natural wool fibers (no dyes here!), this area rug features a subtle, yet textured grey hue. And bonus, this mixing technique also ensures the yarn is heavier and softer than usual – the perfect base layer for building out a room.
Handwoven and hand-dyed by a cooperative of sixty women weavers in Oaxaca, each one takes almost three weeks to complete. All made start-to-finish in a fair trade environment.
Also available as a small accent rug or runner.
We recommend a rug pad to prevent slippage.

La Cima Area Rug
We purchased the La Cima rug a month ago to match our bico bed blanket. The rug is stunning. The colors of the rug brighten and ties our bedroom together beautifully. We purchased a rug pad to put underneath the La Cima Rug so the rug doesn’t move around. It’s been a joy. Thank you The Citizenry for bringing us high quality, beautifully designed home goods.
No regrets- beautiful rug
Beautiful rug- nice underfoot, just as appeared. It has been holding up to heavy foot traffic (big dog and kids)
Beautiful
Love this rug. Feels soft & lovely & looks exactly like in the pictures. Only thing to be aware of is that it is not very think / heavy.
Good for your home, good for the world
I absolutely love my new bedroom rug. It’s as beautiful, soft and understated as the site suggested. And I feel so good that it’s sustainably produced - good for the artisans and good for the planet.
A subtle update...
I have a very classic feminine NYC Greenwich Village apartment...Chandeliers...lots of glass, etc. Modern and vintage mix. This rug updated the space beautifully. Subtle. But current.
