Say hello to the coziest throw of them all. Hand-loomed from 100% baby alpaca, this neutral throw is as buttery-soft as it gets. The warm, light hue is perfectly neutral, the design is subtle, and the touch of fringe is just right. We wouldn’t blame you for wanting one for every room.
Crafted by master weavers in a quiet mountain village in the Peruvian Andes, each throw takes about a week to complete. All made exclusively in a fair trade environment.

Never wash your alpaca throws or pillow covers - the spinning motion of a washing machine will destroy the delicate fibers. Absorb any liquid spills with paper towels or a clean cloth. Dry cleaning is the best option for removing stains or occasional cleaning.

These throws are completely worth the money. Yes, they feel a little thin compared to blankets but they are warm, luxurious and complement any space. Purchased this one plus the cascada throw (my favorite).

Updating my husband’s home office, and it was time to send off the ‘good enough- look for less’ and invest in some pieces that withstand the test of time in both quality and style. I wanted to love this alpaca throw based on the luxuriously dreamy description and photos provided but alas when the item came I was greeted by what could easily be mistaken as a picnic blanket. Story of my life... With my online dating experience, you'd think at this point I'd be a little more discerning with things I find online but I digress. I'm having total buyer's remorse as I should have stuck with my gut instinct and gone with the Tesoro throw. The colors of the grey La Lena are more contrasting in real life, the grey seemed more muted online. The prominent contrasting lines somehow gives the throw a cheap gauze-y vibe. Not only was the throw extremely thin, but not as soft as I was anticipating. The grey fibers are very soft and what I had hoped the whole blanket would be but the beige fibers which account of the majority of the feel, is upsettingly rough. For the price of this blanket, I'm extremely underwhelmed. I will say that I gave an extra star based on the quickness that the item was processed and shipped. The throw also came in a nice dust bag which was a nice touch.
