    A timeless classic, this elegant bed can be upholstered with your choice of natural cotton and linen, durable Crypton® Home performance fabrics, or buttery-soft leather. Details crafted with solid maple or walnut, this heirloom piece is crafted with a low footboard for a touch of style.

    Completely made to order, each bed takes 8-10 weeks to arrive at your home. Made by a team of master frame builders and upholsterers in Hickory, North Carolina, each piece celebrates timeless design and American craftsmanship. All made start-to-finish in a fair trade environment with FSC-certified wood.

    Please note, leather Twin beds have one seam on the headboard and footboard, Full/Queen have two, and King/Cal-King have three (due to natural variation in material sourcing).

    Note: Any damage should be reported at the time of delivery.

      • Are swatches available?
        Yes, find swatches of all of our upholstery and wood materials here to see the colors and materials in your space.
      • What mattress should I use?
        While your current mattress will work with any of our beds without a box spring, we recommend the Avocado Green Mattress® in the standard size which is 11” thick. For additional comfort, add the Avocado Organic Latex Mattress Topper for a total height of 13.75”.

      • What's Included?
        Your delivery includes your headboard, footboard, two side rails, a center support rail, three support feet, and slats. Hardware comes preinstalled.
      • How will my bed arrive?
        Ensure your space is ready for white glove delivery and the pieces fit through doorways and stairwells:
        Headboard/Footboard boxes (range depends on size): 30-55 lbs, 30”H x 48-86”W x 5”D
        Side Rail boxes (range depends on size): 65-75 lbs, 37”H x 84-89”W x 5”D

      • Do I need a box spring?
        No, each bed is made with a foundation of wood slats to ensure even weight distribution and longevity. Box springs are not advised with any of our beds.

    Beautiful, statement bed

    After waiting 3 months, we finally got our king size bed in Oat with maple wood accents, and it's even better than we expected. Feels very well-made and hoping to have it for years to come!

    Beautiful but Issues

    I ordered this bed in June knowing that it would need to wait 3 months for it to arrive as each piece is crafted by hand. I was excited when it finally arrived in September but unfortunately, I still haven't been able to use it. The legs for the center support were too short and therefore, couldn't provide any support. I contacted Customer Service which was responsive but it's now the middle of October and I still don't hav the replacement parts. Keep in mind that I disposed of the bed that I previously owned the day before this bed was delivered. Which means I haven't had a bed in 3 + weeks. When I asked CS why I hadn't yet received the replacement legs I was told teh artisan's label printer was broken. I want to love this piece but it has caused way too much frustration and for over $3,500 I would expect more.
