Designed with a roomy seat and a “cocoon” style backing, this piece invites you to simply sit back and relax - preferably with a cocktail in hand.
Each one is handcrafted by master artisans who know the ins and outs of rattan and cane weaving - trust us, their craftsmanship is unparalleled. All made start-to-finish in a fair trade workshop in Cirebon, Indonesia.
These chairs are best suited for indoor and covered outdoor use.

United StatesGorgeous but not comfy
This chair is a work of art. I scoured - scoured - the Internet for something even close and came up short. It's absolutely lovely and the main driver of the four stars. However it's extremely uncomfortable. There are bamboo bars underneath the sit the absolutely skewer your buns and thighs. I've had many guests over and they've all agreed. Citizenry was extremely accommodating when I raised my concern, offering me several great options. In the end I decided to keep because it's so pretty but will get a cushion made for it similar to the Tara chair so it's comfy too. I'm hoping others who have this chair will chime in just in case mine was defective.

United StatesDisappointing aesthetically and otherwise
The color is more yellow than expected and the discomfort of the seat is pretty extreme. Saw this in reviews but thought I’d take a chance since every other Citizenry product I’ve bought has been fantastic. I’d recommend skipping this one.
