Handcrafted by a cooperative of master artisans in Guerrero, Mexico, each basket takes around three days to complete. All made start-to-finish in a fair trade environment.

I got the large and it fits perfectly in the corner of the room- a beautiful way to hid pillows and blankets in the corner- and with the lid you can rest things on top of it

I had been looking at these baskets for months, contemplating the accuracy of photo and description. I finally ordered the largest size, and it’s beautiful. Although not heavy, there is more substantial heft than what the photo displays. It is a plus, as it’s not a light ‘fly away’ piece. The construction is absolutely flawless; with incredible detail, and a surprisingly thick tightly woven texture. Beautifully hand engineered, with the passed down knowledge of generations--you can’t beat it. As in all well made natural woven materials, it’s beautiful to look at.
