Beautiful but not as vibrant as pictured
It's really beautiful in pattern but I thought it was going to be a very inky black and more vibrant rust -- the weaving all over has white thread backing that dulls all the colors over the entire rug. Quite a bit disappointed... but it's still more beautiful than anything else I could find so I'm keeping. Just thought I was getting something more special for the price.
More black than indigo, but a beautiful design
This is a beautiful rug! Like another reviewer mentioned, it really doesn’t look like it has any blue in it — the “indigo” appears black regardless of the lighting. While I’m a little concerned about how long it will last — in terms of the materials and quality, it seems like the rug could stretch and/or get fuzzy with routine use — fingers crossed it lasts a long time, because we love the design.
Thinner and a bit darker than I expected, but a nice rug
This rug is on the thin side, quite a bit thinner than I expected given the price. It feels more like a throw rug than a wool area rug given its thinness. The colors are a bit darker in person than they are in the photos, too. The black in the rug really stands out, when I thought it might have a bit more of a deep navy hue from the photos. Still, it is a lovely rug, very well made, and I'm sure it will last for a long time. The rug mat is a must given how thin this rug is, however.
