Totora Floor Basket
Extra chunky weave. Braided handles. These woven floor baskets are a thing of beauty. Not to mention, they’re incredibly durable, too – woven with the strong totora reed (a material used to build fishing boats), these designs are made to withstand it all.
Handwoven in the homes of master artisans in Lima, Peru, each basket undergoes a meticulous weaving process that takes up to a day to complete. Exclusively made in a fair trade working environment.
Note: Due to the handwoven nature of these baskets, expect some variation in size, shape, and color.

Gorgeous baskets
Beautiful baskets I have sitting in the powder room, living and family rooms. In the powder room it’s filled with towels and bathroom supplies and in the other room blankets. Excellent quality.

I ordered the smallest of these three, and know that soon I will order the larger one. I love the natural rush weave and shape of these baskets - And as a basket collector, this is my favorite!
gorgeous sturdy baskets
These are well-constructed baskets that seem very durable and well made. I like the wide open construction for ease of getting items in and out, whether it is towels near the hot tub in the case of the larger size or laundry in the case of the smaller.
Great customer service, wrong size
I ordered 3 of the baskets for a specific space based off the sizing description on the website, unfortunately the description didn't take into account the handles that don't have any bend to them. Citizenry's customer service could not have been more helpful addressing the issue and making it right. Unfortunately, I had to return the baskets as they didn't fit the space they were intended for.
