As one of the most ancient and elegant craft cultures, it was only a matter of time before we made our way to Morocco. It also helps that it was our followers’ most requested destination. (Yep, we pay attention to those Instagram comments.)
It’s no secret that Moroccan decor is having a moment. But, what most people don’t know is that the country’s artisan economy is in rapid decline. Most “Moroccan-inspired” designs in the U.S. market are either vintage or manufactured in other countries - both of which do nothing to preserve the country’s age-old craft traditions that date all the way back to the 6th century.
With this collection, we set out to preserve this ancient culture and ensure its traditions live on.

We embarked on a cross-country trek to find the last artisan groups who have grown up learning these time-tested techniques. From the bustling cities of Rabat and Marrakech to the rural villages nestled in the Middle and High Atlas Mountains, we searched long and hard to find the best of the best.
From Beni Ourain rugs and wedding blankets to Hammam towels and leather poufs, our travels led us to discover some of the most incredible artisans we’ve ever worked with. Together, we went the extra mile to use only the highest quality materials - from sourcing the best leather and wood to even building new supply chains for premium wool, cotton, and cactus silk.
Our goal is to return to the original quality that put these designs on the map. Needless to say, we’re incredibly proud of this collection and what it means for the 367 artisans that helped us bring it to life.
We hope you’ll join us in celebrating these ancient traditions and its maker’s who are committed to making sure they live on. To see the full collection, click HERE.
