Hot pink walls. Floating staircases. Tall glass windows. This is the stuff  that makes our mid-century-loving hearts skip a beat. It’s also the traits that put the work of Mexican architect, Luis Barragán, on the map.

Barragán is known as Mexico’s “Frank Lloyd Wright,” and his influence can be seen throughout the city’s bright colored walls, structural plazas, and modern buildings. To get up close and personal with his work and process, we toured his house in Mexico City.
