1 // BRINGING THE OUTDOORS IN
This time of year, finding fresh flowers locally can be pricey and unnecessary. Embrace the season by heading outside on a hike or in your backyard and gather up the beautiful textures nature gives us this time of year. Sticks and dried hydrangeas to dried lavender and grape vines – even branches with turning leaves. Have fun placing them in tall vases to draw your eye over the table.

3 // DIM THE LIGHTS
Don’t try to counter the darker days with light. Embrace it. Low light creates a sense of intimacy and connection for dinner gatherings. During this time year, we stick to fire light, natural light, and lower light. It draws your guests closer and creates a sense and feeling of warmth.

4 // PICK A SEASONAL PALETTE
Warm and earthy tones mixed with neutrals will create an inviting and beautiful palette for your holiday table. Don’t feel like you need anything too fancy. Take cues from the world outside. A terra-cotta vase with foraged decor will be a beautiful focal point. Using napkins that are neutral and vary in pattern or texture will bring a designed element to the table. All simple ways to bring the season to the table without too much work.
